1. The app
AlpiNav provides resort maps, routing, conditions and activity tracking for skiing, snowboarding, hiking and mountain biking. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA) applies in addition to these terms.
2. Mountain safety — read this
Mountain sports are dangerous. AlpiNav is a planning and orientation aid, not a safety device. Map data, lift hours, lift status, weather and avalanche information can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Always follow resort signage, closures and instructions from ski patrol, check official avalanche bulletins, ski within your ability and keep your phone charged. Never use the app as your only means of navigation or rescue. In an emergency call the local emergency number (112 in Europe, 911 in North America, 119 in Japan).
3. Data sources
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors and OpenSkiMap (ODbL 1.0). Weather data from MET Norway (CC BY 4.0). Avalanche bulletins from SLF, Avalanche.report (Euregio), AINEVA and avalanche.org, linked to their official pages. Elevation data from Copernicus, IGN, swisstopo and USGS where indicated in each pack. Lift status is collected from public resort sources where available and is informational only.
4. Passes and subscriptions
Some features require an AlpiNav Pass. The Season Pass is an auto-renewing yearly subscription: payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your App Store account settings. The Week and Group passes last 7 days and do not renew. The Resort Lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase that unlocks the navigator at the resort selected when buying. Refunds are handled by Apple.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the friends feature to locate people without their consent, and do not reverse engineer or redistribute resort packs except as allowed by their open licences.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and Sprinklebun Studio is not liable for indirect damages or for decisions taken on the basis of information shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
7. Law
These terms are governed by French law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence.
